LRH Now Offers Online Patient Registration
Lakes Regional Healthcare (LRH) now offers online patient registration on their web site at www.lakeshealth.org. Upon entering LRH’s home page, patients can click on a link that says “Online Registration,” which will take them to an online form that requests information such as name, birth date, address, employer, emergency contact, and insurance. LRH Controller Julie Resch said, “Most of the information we need to collect is listed on the form. Although it’s pretty extensive, it doesn’t take very long to complete it. We’re excited about offering patients another convenient way to register for services.”
The online registration feature does not enable patients to bypass patient registration in person. According to Resch, patients will still have to stop at the hospital’s patient registration desk to give a copy of their health insurance card to the hospital, sign consent forms, as well as provide any Advance Directive or living will that have not already been given to the hospital for their files.
