LRH Now on Facebook
Lakes Regional Healthcare (LRH) recently joined the Facebook community with its own page, allowing those who use the popular social networking site to stay updated with the hospital’s and health industry’s latest news and information.
“Healthcare is an industry that provides the newest technologies with the best in personalized, individual care, one where feedback has been used to make improvements to services,” said LRH Vice President of Administrative Services Jennifer Gustafson. “By establishing a Facebook page, we are opening up a new two-way dialogue with the people who impact our business, including patients, vendors, physicians, and employees. From these discussions we hope to learn more about people’s needs so we can continue to grow the organization in the best direction.”
The LRH Facebook page features:
• A “wall” for fans to post comments, links, or media such as photos and videos.
• Photo albums of LRH facilities, technologies, history, and events
• LRH-sponsored event information
• Links to other web sites
• Video clips of LRH events
In the near future the page will provide video clips of physicians and other healthcare professionals offering information about various health topics.
To become a “fan” of the Lakes Regional Healthcare Facebook page, go to http://www.facebook.com and type in Lakes Regional Healthcare in the search field. The search result will show LRH’s profile picture of the hospital’s road sign and ER entrance as well as provide a link that will take the user directly to the page itself. To become a fan, click on the “Become a Fan” button at the top of the page next to the title. To become a fan, the user must already have a free Facebook profile.
