LRH Hospice Volunteers Honored
Lakes Regional Healthcare Hospice volunteers Mavis Bonnstetter and Marlys Scherlin were honored for their work in hospice at the Hospice & Palliative Care Association of Iowa conference in Ames. According to Lakes Regional Healthcare Hospice Director Micki Kohorst, “Both Mavis and Marlys are such assets to our hospice team. They are strong advocates for Lakes Regional Healthcare Hospice as well as the patients they care for. Our patients and their families have expressed how comforting Mavis and Marlys are during their visits. Lakes Regional Healthcare Hospice is fortunate to have such dedicated volunteers as Mavis and Marlys.”
