LRH Staff Earn Certification for Healthcare Leadership Educational Series
Three of Lakes Regional Healthcare’s (LRH) leadership team were recently recognized at the Iowa Hospital Association’s annual meeting. LRH Obstetrics Supervisor Katie Furman, Director of Inpatient Services Kathi Noble, and Mobile Intensive Care Services Supervisor Steve Smith were recognized among their peers at the statewide meeting on October 5 for completing a Healthcare Leadership Certification Series. The series spanned six months and included on-site educational programs, webinars, and online courses on topics such as the legal aspects of management, accountability, team building, and financial skills.
“We are fortunate to have great people working within our organization that are committed to becoming even better leaders, which makes Lakes Regional Healthcare as a whole that much stronger,” said LRH President and CEO Jason Harrington. “By completing this entire series, they’ve shown they are committed to providing high-quality service to our patients and community.
