 Zimmerman Earns Professional Certification
Holli Zimmerman, Lead Patient Registration Representative at Lakes Regional Healthcare, recently earned certification as a Certified Healthcare Access Associate.
The certification, awarded by the National Association of Healthcare Access Management (NAHAM), signifies that Zimmerman demonstrates increased knowledge in patient access service areas. Patient access services professionals provide quality services in registration and all of its support processes to patients, providers, and payors into, through, and out of their healthcare experience.
To become certified, applicants must pass a comprehensive examination and have completed one year of work experience in the healthcare or finance industry or successfully completed an accredited college program in healthcare.
“Holli is responsible for leading the patient access services for the hospital including admissions, registrations, and guest relations,” said Lakes Regional Healthcare Controller Julie Resch. “Her certification demonstrates her commitment to personal and professional excellence, and contributes to the high quality care patients receive at Lakes Regional Healthcare.”
The National Association of Healthcare Access Management (NAHAM) is the only national professional organization dedicated to promoting excellence in the management of patient access services in all areas of the healthcare delivery system.
