LRH to Offer Free Diabetic Presentation
Lakes Regional Healthcare (LRH) is hosting an upcoming presentation on managing diabetes through the holidays. The program will help those in attendance learn how to enjoy favorite holiday foods and control glucose levels. LRH Registered Dietitian Beth Samuelson and Lynn Hughes, RN and Certified in Diabetic Management, will give the presentation and answer questions.
The presentation will be held on Thursday, November 15 from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m. in the Big Spirit room in LRH’s Education Center, in the hospital’s lower level. Seating is limited, so those planning on attending are to register beforehand by calling 712-336-8785 and are encouraged to arrive 15 minutes early. Admission is free and a light lunch and refreshments will be provided.
