| Sibling Class |
Lakes Regional Healthcare offers a sibling class for children ages 3 and up and their expectant parents at various times throughout the year.
The class prepares young children for the arrival of a new baby in the family. Those in attendance learn about the hospital experience of delivering a baby, safety precautions associated with a baby, and adjusting to life with a new baby. The class is very educational and interactive, encouraging siblings to ask questions and role-play with their parent. A parent must accompany the child and bring a doll or stuffed animal to the class.
