What It Is
A free examination of the injury and a free x-ray (if one is needed) will be provided. Any follow-up appointments, further radiology tests (such as CTs or MRIs), or supplies (such as casts, braces, or splints) will be charged to health insurance.
Where and When
The sports injury clinic is located in the Rehab Department just inside the south entrance of Lakes Regional Healthcare. It is held at 9:00 am sharp every Saturday morning during football season. Registration at the hospital's Patient Registration desk is not necessary. Student-athletes must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and bring their health insurance card.
Complimentary new injury evaluations are provided for student-athletes throughout the rest of the year by appointment. If interested, please call Ben Davis at 319-215-0656.
